Dark Cockpit is an aviation concept. It is the term we use for the situation when, except for the ambient and instrument lighting, no other light is on – no CAUTION lights (amber), no WARNING lights (red), no OFF lights (white), no ON lights (blue).
Dark Cockpit means everything is fine and working as planned. The plane flies smoothly and passengers mind their business – read, watch a movie, eat a snack, make new friends, deal with an excel sheet or take a nap.
Dark Cockpit is what we want for our lives, at work and outside work, and this book provides the advice and principles to make it happen more often.
Dark Cockpit was written by Captain Emil Dobrovolschi and Octavian Pantiș.
